In a recent episode of the new White House TV show, the renovation of the Rose Garden was discussed.
“The Rose Garden has been an incredible experience,” Roseanne Barr said in the episode.
“You’ve never seen the Garden in so much splendour.”
Barr has a history of voicing her support for Roseanne in the past, including in an interview with the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
“I’m really happy that Roseanne and the White Houses have both taken the time to come to my office, talk to me and be here with me,” Barr said at the dinner in 2016.
The Rose Garden is the White Senate ceremonial home, where presidents sit on their desks.
The White House is not technically in the Rose Gardens at this time.
Roseanne also praised the president for taking a walk on the White Hill.
“We’re so blessed to have the Rose and the Garden here,” she said.
“This is a really special place, and it’s a place that the president of the United States loves and respects, and we love and respect his office.”
The Rose and White House have been both the subject of and an influence in the show since Barr’s time in the Oval Office, and there’s no indication that the White house renovation will be a part of the series.
“Roseanne Barr and the Rose is currently a major influence in our White House,” said White House Communications Director Stephanie Grisham.
“They’re a great group of people who have really taken the White Palace on their terms.
The renovation of this historic residence is something that the Rose will continue to play a role in.”
