A renovated house in the city’s historic South Louisiana district is turning into a luxury apartment complex that rents out rooms for $2,400 per month.
The new apartments are being built by the property management company Lando Development Group and the New Orleans Downtown Development Authority.
The development, located on the corner of Dixie Highway and Dixie Avenue, is one of the first new apartment developments in New Orleans.
It opened its doors earlier this year, with a reception and breakfast and a kitchen, but soon began moving into a second floor office space.
The property management firm owns the property, and Lando will provide a portion of the rent.
The apartments were initially scheduled to be built for $1,400 a month, but Lando says they are now priced at $2.6 million, including utilities and security fees.
The company will also contribute $300,000 toward the cost of the renovation.
It is also leasing a five-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse for $4,300 per month, plus utilities and taxes.
The renovations are part of a larger renovation program that includes an overhaul of the building’s exterior, including new windows, and landscaping.
The renovated house is currently located in the historic South neighborhood of New Orleans, and it is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
Lando will also provide security and rent assistance, and the project is expected be completed by late fall.
